The other day we were out running errands. Ava announced from the back seat, "Mom. I'm going to be nice to Andrew all day!"
"That's great! It should be a good day then," I said as I looked back through my rear view mirror. And there they were, little brother and big sister, holding hands in the space between their car seats. My heart felt instantly warmer.

Love, love, love those moments!
So cute, maybe it's the season that brings it out in our kids. I just came across a note I wrote to myself a couple of years ago because it was funny. My youngest daughter was terrified as we stood in line to see Santa thinking that he wouldn't like her because she had been mean to her brother. It was the moment of truth and I think it made her evaluate her actions and be nicer to her brother for a little while at least :) :)
